02 How We Use Information
We use information to operate, maintain, and improve the Service; to authenticate users and secure accounts; to process payments; to provide support; to communicate important notices; and to comply with legal obligations. We may use aggregated, de-identified data for analytics and product improvement.
03 Patient Data & Your Role
When you upload Patient Data, you (the clinic or professional) act as the controller of that data, and Afterx processes it on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for obtaining all required consents and for lawful handling of Patient Data. Where applicable, a separate data-processing or business-associate agreement governs how we process Patient Data.
04 AI Processing
AI Studio features process the images and videos you submit to generate or enhance content. This processing is performed to deliver the features you request. We do not use your Patient Data to train publicly shared AI models without an appropriate legal basis. AI-generated output may be imperfect and should be reviewed before use.
07 Data Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08 Data Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Upon termination, we make Content available for export for a reasonable period before deletion in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. For Patient Data, requests should generally be directed to the clinic acting as controller; we will assist our customers in fulfilling such requests as required. 11 Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for use by professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Patient imagery uploaded by clinics is handled as Patient Data under the responsibility of the uploading professional and subject to applicable consents.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
